The Saratoga Farmers market was humming this morning with plenty of new produce, shoppers and even a pie contest using market ingredients. Cherries, both sour and sweet, were in greater abundance, but the first local blueberries of the season at Bowman Orchards, presented a nice complement to the old red, white and blue.

I saw you at the market!! you came into our little corner, by the plant guy and the lamb and eggs lady. (i still dont know their names...) I was helping someone at the time, but ill shout out next time. Surprised to see folks come out on the 4th. bbqs/drinking usually take precidence...
